Sizing of Collars All sizes refer to the overall length of the collar, excluding fittings.
On buckled collars, the last hole is
2" in from the tip, with 4 holes in total. For
example a 20" collar will fasten between approx. 16"-18".
As a rough guide, take a measurement of your dog's actual
neck size (not loose) and add 4" to give the length of
collar to order.
Adjustable Half-Choke collars :-
the size refers to the min to max length of the leather part
only; the circle chain adds an extra 4" length to
this.
For a good fit, the leather section on all of the half-choke
collars needs to be at least 1" shorter than your dog's
actual neck measurement.
